XtGem don't have a paging system in a page, right? Today, we want to share you on how to create a manual paging.
Element Used
This procedure uses plain HTML, get argument and XtFunctions. XtFunctions used are:
• URL XtFunction To enable same page redirection
• Include XtFunction (MAIN COMPONENT) Enable external file to be embedded on the same page.
Procedure
First, go to file browser and go to your desired directory. After that, create a file. Both HTML or WML are supported for this operation. After creating HTML or WML file, put this code:
This will appeared to be the pages menu where all pages can be accessed through it. You can add more links for page 3, 4, 5 and onwards. This is just partial of the procedure. After pasting the code on your choosen page, open File Browser then create a text file. It is up to you where to create but make sure it is a text file and have a numerical name (e.g.: 1, 2, 3, etc). After that, put all your codes in there. Next, go back to the previous file you have pasted the code. Then paste this new code at a new block:
Please put the directory of the text files you have created in the code.. Finally, check your code. If it is not functioning, e-mail us at greenwap@hotmail.com
This manual paging uses get argument to enable <xt:include> embed a file in the page itself. Enjoy!
